Major: Biology

After he graduated from St. Francis High School in Roselle, IL, Matt chose Illinois Wesleyan for the great biology program and the beautiful campus. He works as a summer camp counselor for his local park district in Roselle, where he works with kids between 5 and 12 years old. On campus at IWU, he is involved with the Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity, Tri-Beta (Biology Honors Society), Men's Tennis, and the Admissions Committee. Matt spends a lot of time with his friends in Roselle and with his Portuguese Water Dog, Sadie. His favorite memory of Turning Titan Orientation is winning a sweet IWU mug when he asked his friend to lose to him at the climbing wall at the Titan Carnival.

Matt's advice for new students:
The first semester isn't going to be easy, so don't go too hard on yourself. College life requires a difficult transition, so be ready.
