Best thing about being a Titan:
The ability to discover and embrace who you are. IWU really gives every student the opportunity to shine during their 4 years here!
Where do you like to hang out on campus?
For studying definitely Ames Library, specifically in the basement! I like meeting up with friends for coffee in Hansen Student Center and spending time out on the quad when it's nice out.
Do you work on or off campus? Where?
Campus / community organizations you are involved in?
Kappa Delta Sorority-treasurer, Dance Team-captain, Accounting Society, and Titan Orientation Leader!
What was your favorite part of Turning Titan?
Meeting new people, the fun activities (the hypnotist is awesome), and getting to know the campus.
What was your favorite class at IWU? What about your favorite class during your first year at IWU?
I really enjoyed my gateway course. It was a science-related class and was something completely different then the other classes I was taking. Within the past year I've taken a lot of classes in my major that I've enjoyed. They have challenged me and have taught me a lot more then what you read in a textbook!
Any interesting hobbies?...any hobbies at all…
I love to scrapbook and take pictures.
Favorite way to spend a sunny day in Bloomington / on campus?
Out on the quad! I also like to take walks around the campus / to nearby areas such as downtown Bloomington.
Something that you absolutely couldn’t live without (on campus)…
All the amazing people I have met over the years!
Anything else you want to share…
I'm extremely excited to be serving my second year as a Titan Orientation Leader! I can't wait to meet our new first years and show them how wonderful their four years at IWU with be!!!
