Kristi grew up in Mundelein, IL, where she attended Carmel High School. She chose Illinois Wesleyan because the campus is beautiful, the location is great, and the size is just right. Kristi works as a waitress in a sushi restaurant. She has participated in many volunteer/charity activities including Habitat for Humanity, PATH, and Alzheimer's research. When she has free time, she loves to work out, read a good book, or paint. Looking back to her own Turning Titan Orientation, she remembers how everyone was so excited and willing to make friends. She met a lot of people that have stayed friends with her throughout her time at IWU.
Kristi's advice for new students:
Don't take class too seriously. Learn time management so that you're not freaking out come finals time. Maintaining a life outside of classes is just as important as receiving a good grade.
