Major: Biology (Pre-Physical Therapy)

Kirsten graduated from Lincoln Way Central High School in New Lenox before choosing to attend Illinois Wesleyan. The first time she saw IWU's campus she fell in love with the school. She loves the size of the school, which makes it easier to get around from place to place. Also, the quad is her favorite place to relax and catch up with friends!

She works as a secretary at a Custom Auto Interiors shop even though she doesn't know anything about cars! She is also a First Year Residential Advisor for the Office of Residential Life and a member of both Tri-Beta (Biology Honors Society) and NRHH (National Residence Hall Honorary).

Kirsten likes to socialize as much as possible during her free time. Friends and family are very important to her, so she likes to get a chance to talk to them when she can! She also likes to play piano (especially duets with Derrick)!

Her favorite memory of Turning Titan Orientation is meeting so many people. Students really do form friendships quickly the first week they are here at IWU. Everyone is so friendly and willing to listen, which is another thing she loves about this campus.

Kirsten's advice for new students:
Make time for yourself. School can get overwhelming fast, but if you take the time to sit down and relax or step away from school work for a few minutes, it can really help you through any stressful situation!
