First-Time Orientation Leader - Class of 2013
Email Katie!Katie came to IWU after attending Grayslake Central High School in Grayslake, IL. She chose IWU because of the great nursing program, welcoming atmosphere, and beautiful campus! Katie works as a summer camp counselor at Banner Day Camp, on campus as a House Girl for her sorority, and is involved in Circle K, the Sigma Kappa sorority, and Student Nurses Association, and as a TOL! She spends her free time either working, hanging out with her friends, going on spontaneous adventures, watching movies, or watching her favorite television show, LOST. The carnival was by far her favorite part of Turning Titan Orientation.
Katie's advice for new students:
Open your eyes to new opportunities and new people. Also, realize you're not going to be in the top ten percent like you were in high school. And this is ok!
