Kate is a graduate of Century High School, coming to Illinois Wesleyan from Rochester, MN. She chose IWU because she liked the small, beautiful campus, the sense of community, and the many clubs and activities the school offered. The small classes and the study abroad programs were a big pull for her as well. A member of the IWU Swim Team, Kate spends her free time like anyone else by reading, hanging out, watching movies, and the usual. Looking back to her own Turning Titan Orientation, she remembers playing group Rock Paper Scissors out on the quad. It was intense.
Kate's advice for new students:
Don't worry so much, just let yourself experience college. It is a fun time, and it goes by faster than you could ever imagine.
