Jaclynn joined the proud ranks of IWU Titans after graduating from Lincoln-Way Central High School in Manhattan, IL. She made the choice to attend IWU because it was the perfect size for her. She enjoyed having one-on-one relationships with teachers in high school and wanted her college experience to be a continuation of that tradition. Jaclynn also fell in love with the campus the first time she visited. The campus is unbelievably gorgeous and she still feels blessed to be a part of it. A great tour made her feel right at home at Wesleyan, helping make it her top choice.

Off-campus, Jaclynn works for The Premier Productions; she also has experience being a Teaching Assistant. A member of the Kappa Delta sorority, Jaclynn also a member of Gamma Sigma Alpha and the Order of Omega. She also volunteers consistently with various non-profit organizations such as the Baby Fold and Cisar Animal Shelter. Jaclynn loves to watch movies and share meals with friends. She also loves planning road trips and doing spontaneous things on the weekends, in addition to dancing with her friends for fun, even though they aren't very good. Jaclynn loves to listen to music and run while listening to music. She cooks a lot and reads a lot of cooking blogs.

Her favorite part of Turning Titan was the speaker on the first night, Will Keim, who brought a good laugh to everyone even though new students were all so nervous and anxious. It felt great to be there with her whole class and experience their first real-world speaker.

Jaclynn's advice for new students:
Relax. You wont be good at everything and that's ok. That is what college is for. You learn to be the best at your talents and let others be the best at theirs. You can have fun and be a good student!
