Major: Business Administration
Minor: Psychology

Frances came to Illinois Wesleyan from Rochester, MN, where she graduated from Mayo High School. She chose IWU for its small size; when she visited the campus, she had a sense of belonging. She needed a school that would have Circle K and band. Wesleyan was the perfect fit for her and my admission counselor did a great job of convincing her to come. Frances currently has a summer internship with a district court judge in Rochester, MN.

Frances is the president of the law society, member and assistant of vice president of recruitment for Alpha Kappa Psi, and also volunteers for the animal shelter of central Illinois. She participate in medical brigades and plans to start a business brigades organization this upcoming year. Frances loves to volunteer and give motivational speeches. She also enjoys being outside and swimming. She spends time with her family and friends and travels as much as possible. Her favorite memory of orientation would be playing frisbee with Titan Orientation Leaders on the quad. She loved meeting so many people and having fun outside.

Frances's advice for new students:
The best advice would be to meet as many people as possible and study hard! Balance is key in college.
