Alpha Tau Delta (Upsilon Chapter)

Alpha Tau Delta is a national professional fraternity for nursing majors. Students who have second year standing or higher with a minimum GPA of 2.5 are eligible to join. Students are inaugurated in the fall and in the spring semesters. The purposes of the organization are to:

• Further higher professional education standards for persons in the nursing profession
• Inaugurate projects that strengthen the field of professional nursing
• Develop character and leadership and encourage high ethical standards of professional conduct
• Encourage excellence of individual performance and develop the highest possible scholastic attainment
• Maintain an inter-fraternity spirit of cooperation
• Form a close bond of friendship, fellowship, mutual helpfulness, and understanding among college persons in the nursing profession
