School of Nursing Open House Registration

The School of Nursing Open House will be on Saturday, Nov. 5, 2011, in conjunction with IWU's Faculty Open House. The School of Nursing portion of the Open House will begin following the general presentation; at approximately 11:30 a.m. You may attend the general presentation followed by the School of Nursing program, or attend only the Nursing program. Please register for each session which you will attend.

Welcome and General Orientation (Shirk Center Performance Gym)

11:30 a.m. -12:30p.m. Walk with the Recruitment Coordinator, Kim Schultz, from the Shirk Center to Memorial Center Young Main Lounge. Be our guests as you meet and have lunch with our Nursing faculty and students.
12:30-1:00 p.m. Walk to Center for Natural Sciences C101 where Director, Dr. Vickie Folse, will present an overview of our program.
1:00-1:30 p.m. Learn more from our students about nursing classes, clinical, travel options, minor study, nursing internships and campus life. An alum will discuss job opportunities as well as her own experience as a recent grad.
1:30-2:30 p.m. Break into groups and tour our Nursing Interventions Laboratory in Stevenson Hall; find out more from students, our Director, and the Recruitment Coordinator.
2:30-3:30 p.m. Join the ongoing campus Open House, or return to Stevenson Hall Rm. 103 and/or the Nursing Interventions Laboratory with questions about our program.
3:30-4:30 p.m. Campus tours, led by nursing majors, will originate from Stevenson Hall Rm. 103. Nursing Interventions Laboratory tours continue.
