BLOOMINGTON, Ill.— On Sept. 28 the mentalist Christopher Carter will perform at the Hansen Student Center (300 Beecher St., Bloomington) at 8:00 p.m. Carter a renowned mind-reader who has previously performed at IWU, will showcase his mind-reading, hypnosis and entertainment talents.
The event will be free and open to the public.
Carter's show will include displaying feats such as reading the minds of dozens of people in the audience and declaring personal thoughts, which the members in audience have never disclosed to anyone. He can guess the exact contents of the participant's pockets with his eyes closed and can light up a bulb in a participant's hands.
Carter has appeared on The Martin Short Show, and the Donny and Marie Show. A popular performer on college campuses, Carter has been awarded the highest honor in the Campus Activities industry: Entertainer of the Year in 2005.
