"Northern Exposure" will feature work by the art faculty from St. Norbert College.

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. –Illinois Wesleyan’s Merwin and Wakeley Galleries will welcome two new exhibits on Tuesday, Feb. 28 that will be displayed through Thursday, March 29. Several members of the art faculty of St. Norbert College will present a collection of work, “Northern Exposure,” in The Merwin Gallery, and Carol Hahn of Heartland Community College will present “Work” in the Wakeley Gallery.
The galleries are located in the Joyce Eichhorn Ames School of Art Building (6 Ames Plaza West, Bloomington). Regular gallery hours are Monday through Friday from noon to 4 p.m., Tuesday evenings from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. All exhibits are free and open to the public.
The opening reception for both exhibits will take place on Tuesday, Feb. 28 from 5 to 6 p.m. in the galleries. Artists from St. Norbert College will give a gallery talk at 4 p.m. in the Merwin Gallery.
“Northern Exposure” will feature work by St. Norbert College art faculty Brandon Bauer, Shan Bryan-Hanson, Brian Pirman, Donald Taylor, James Neilson, Josh Gordon and William Bohné. The exhibit will highlight design, mixed media, painting, multi-media, sculpture and ceramics.

“Work,” will feature drawings and sculpture created by Hahn. She currently serves as the Instructional Chair of Humanities and Fine Arts at Heartland Community College.
