BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – The Illinois Wesleyan University School of Music will present the Symphonic Winds Friday, Nov. 20 at 7:30 p.m. at Westbrook Auditorium in Presser Hall (1210 N. Park St., Bloomington). The concert is free and open to the public.
Directed by Assistant Professor of Music Roger Garrett, Symphonic Winds features Illinois Wesleyan students of all majors. The ensemble will perform Heroic Fanfare by Scott Copeland, Dance Rhythms by Wallingford Riegger, The Renaissance Fair by Bob Margolis, Fanfare and Allegro by Clifton Williams, Sun Dance by Frank Ticheli, Music for a Festival by Gordon Jacob, The Vanished Army (They Never Die) Poetic March by Kenneth J. Alford and The March from “1941” by John Williams.
