BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan University Percussion Ensemble will present their first semester concert Saturday, December 5 at 5 p.m. in Westbrook Auditorium of Presser Hall (1210 N. Park St., Bloomington). The performance is free and open to the public.
The group, which is composed of ten percussion majors and minors and students enrolled in the Percussion Techniques class, will play four compositions Saturday evening. These works include; Carolyn Bremer's Circadian Rhythms, Antonin Dvork's Slavonic Dances No2, Op. 46, Carl Schimmel's Serving Size 4 Bunnies and Dave Holliden's Reckless.
The ensemble is directed by Adjunct Professor Amanda Legner.
