BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – Get ready for Get Smart. Starring Steve Carell, Anne Hathaway and Dwayne Johnson, the film is coming to the Hansen Student Center (300 E. Beecher St., Bloomington) on Friday, Sept. 19. The showing is free and open to the public at 8 p.m. and 11 p.m.
Maxwell Smart (Carell) is an oblivious and clumsy analyst for CONTROL, a top-secret spy agency of the American government. When the identities of CONTROL’s agents are compromised in an attack on its headquarters, Smart is bumped up to Agent 86. Together, he and his partner, Agent 99 (Hathaway), set out on a worldwide assignment to stop the enemy KAOS from carrying out the remainder of its mission.
