BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - On Sunday, Jan. 29, the Gulick Hall Council, in an effort to encourage sustainable living, will sponsor a campus-wide clothing swap.
From 10:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 29, students can drop off unwanted clothing at the Sodexho stairs, located in the Memorial Center (104 University St., Bloomington). Students who participate will receive a ticket for each item donated, which can later be redeemed for a pick of the clothing donated by students at the Hansen Student Center (300 Beecher St., Bloomington) from 2 p.m. - 3 p.m. the same day. Clothing can also be dropped off at Hansen Student Center between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m., however, tickets will not be awarded.
All students, even those who do not donate, are welcome to a "free-for-all" with the clothing left, from 3 p.m. - 5 p.m at Hansen Student Center. Following the event, leftover clothing will be donated to charity.
