Multicultural Center Mission
To provide relevant educational resources to the Illinois Wesleyan University community that will promote cross-cultural dialogues among campus groups and foster respect, appreciation and a sincere longing for diversity everywhere.The Multicultural Center provides a safe space for underrepresented populations to meet and interact, and encourages the development of healthy identities for all IWU community members.
The Multicultural Center is a gathering place for the Illinois Wesleyan Community. All cultures are represented and encouraged to come together at the Center. The Center provides a comforting home environment, which allows students to study, socialize and network. Meeting space is available for student organizations. Preference is given to multicultural student organizations that promote and celebrate diversity.
