Director of Multicultural Student Affairs

Roshaunda brings to this position a passion for working with students and solid experience in student affairs administration. Roshaunda served the Illinois Wesleyan University community as a residence director beginning in July 2006.  In that position, she supervised upper-division and first-year student residence halls, co-chaired the First Year Experience Committee within the Office of Residential Life. She also coordinated resident assistant trainings, staff recruitment/selection, and student leadership workshops.

Roshaunda provides support and challenge to a campus multicultural women's student group and has assisted with programs and activities within the Office of Multicultural Student Affairs in the past.  Roshaunda has been active in the Alternative Spring Break program since its inception, providing advisement, assistance with fundraising and participation in three service trips. She is a member of the Bloomington/Normal Big Brother/Big Sister program.

Roshaunda earned her master's degree from Indiana University's School of Public and Environmental Affairs, following completion of  her undergraduate work at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville.
