Arielle will be a senior in the fall. Arielle's major is in International Studies, with a concentration in diplomacy, and minors in Spanish and Biology. An accomplishment that stands in her academic career is being part of a group who wrote an internationally recognized and published paper that was presented at an international political conference in Greece. Arielle is looking to utilize some of her many interests in the field of social services in her internship to prepare her for the "real world." Her goal after graduation is to join the Peace Corps. |

Amy Chang |
Amy has finished her freshman year at IWU and is majoring in International Business/Risk Management. Amy is looking to strengthen her interpersonal skills and professionalism as she works and interacts within her internship. From positions Amy has held in the past, she has learned the importance of teamwork, co-operation, and working hard to achieve goals. Amy is looking to gain knowledge and perspective of her true career interests. |

Kindred Cook |
Kindred's major is History as he enters his senior year in the fall. From Kindred's various positions, he has learned the value of punctuality, using time productively, conflict resolution, and to have a positive attitude on any job. He is looking forward to building a network with employers, SEP staff and SEP participants. Kindred wants to utilize the opportunity to develop his strengths. His goal is to work in the professional setting of a museum to gain experience in the field of history. This summer Kindred will be interning at the David Davis Mansion. |

Brittini has a double major at IWU in Business and Sociology as she enters her junior year. Brittini's passion is service as she has a sincere interest in people. During the school year, Brittini works as a Caterer Student Manager for Sodexho at IWU, where she has learned conflict management and time management, working in groups, and communication skills. She will be doing her internship at Unity. |

Will is a Computer Science major at IWU and will be a junior in the fall. Will has held various positions at IWU, as well as an active member of Tau Kappa Epsilon. As a student manager at Tommy's restaurant, Will has learned to be more assertive, develop staff, responsible, and aware of his public actions. The benefits Will expects from the Summer Enrichment Program is that at the end he will have a plan for success and goals to help him accomplish those plans. Will's internship will be with ComCast this summer. |

Eddie will be entering his junior year in the fall and is majoring in Economics. Eddie has been active on campus with BSU where he has held three positions: Student Senate Representative, Vice President, and President. Through his experience with BSU, Eddie has learned how to listen, follow, lead, as well as respect other peoples' values and opinions. Eddie has also been involved with Catholic Charities and volunteering around the Bloomington/Normal community. Eddie will be doing his internship with the Downtown Bloomington Association. |

Vijeta has had many experiences at IWU and the community during her years here. In the fall, she will be a senior majoring in Biology and continue her work with ORL as Residential Community Advisor for small halls and the advisor for the Multicultural Advisors on campus. Vijeta would like to gain the experience of doing medial research through SEP. Her passion is to pursue a career in medicine. Vijeta will be doing her internship at OSF this summer. |

Shavantay will be entering her sophomore year this fall. Shavantay's major is in International Business. She was active in track and field in high school and is on the track team at IWU. Shavantay is looking to develop leadership skills and more confidence when speaking to others and to achieve a career path best suited for her. She has had various experiences working in teams through community involvement and athletic activities. Shavantay will be doing her internship with Catholic Charities |

As a junior in the fall, Myia's major is Nursing with a minor in Women's Studies. Myia's past experiences include camp counselor working with children, an intern in a public health program, was on the track team, and was an executive board member of BSU. Myia would like to work on her communications skills, improve her leadership and presentation skills during the Summer Enrichment Program this summer. Myia will be interning with Heartland Headstart. |
