IWU Men's Basketball to Be Streamed on Internet

The No. 5-ranked Illinois Wesleyan men's basketball team's contest on Wed., Jan 25 against No. 7-ranked Augustana will be streamed to a national audience via the Internet. The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin, in conjunction with Penn Atlantic, will stream the game beginning at 7:30 p.m.

The game, which will be aired with full audio and video originating from the Shirk Center on the IWU campus, will be streamed free of charge through the CCIW website at www.cciw.org, or go here for a direct link to the streaming video.

The game will have audio stream from WJBC 1230 (www.wjbc.com) in Bloomington. IWU alum Bob Quillman will provide play-by-play and former IWU football and baseball player Mike Neal will provide the color commentary.

"This is an exciting opportunity for the conference," CCIW commissioner Chris Martin said. "The CCIW is very excited to be showcasing four very talented basketball teams to a wider audience. These two games may be a precursor for broadcasting future CCIW games in conjunction with Penn Atlantic. The possibilities are very, very exciting."

Penn Atlantic is a Charleston, South Carolina-based communications and media company which focuses on information delivery through a variety of platforms using new technology.
