Kulavic Named Honorable Mention All-American

Illinois Wesleyan sophomore righthander Brent Kulavic has earned honorable mention on the D3baseball.com All-American squads. Go here for complete teams.

Overall this spring, Kulavic (Springfield, Pleasant Plains HS) was 6-1 with a 1.82 earned run average. He struck out 59 in 59 1/3 innings and had four complete games.

Kulavic was earlier named to the American Baseball Coaches Association all-Central Region team and was chosen as the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin "Pitcher of the Year" as he led the league with a 2.03 ERA and had a 5-0 record. He was fifth in the CCIW with 33 strikeouts in 40 innings.
