Irv Epstein has taught at Illinois Wesleyan University for sixteen years, having held previous appointments at the University of Missouri-Columbia, Lafayette College, and Kalamazoo College. He has strong professional and scholarly interests in international human rights, social theory, and comparative, international, and Asian education.  On a good day, he will wax poetic about the wonders of Chilean wine, Nanci Griffith, and classic Curb Your Enthusiasm episodes.
