Business Administration Major
Marcus Dunlop
Marcus Dunlop '08 interned at PriceWaterhouseCoopers while at Illinois Wesleyan, worked at Goldman Sachs after graduation, and is now helping to build a start-up company.

At Illinois Wesleyan, our programs provide a depth of knowledge that complements the general skills of the University-wide liberal arts curriculum. Writing, discussion, problemsolving, and group presentations will play an important part in your courses.

Students gain a firm foundation in theory and its practice, enabling them to adapt to a changing workplace in the years following graduation.

Students enrolled in the Portfolio Management class, offered each semester, have the chance to manage part of the University’s endowment fund. Students work with the Client Board — composed of members of the Board of Trustees, administrators and professional fund managers — to manage a sizeable stock portfolio.

Sample Four-Year Curriculum

This is just an example four-year plan; your actual schedule can/will deviate from this sample. Your faculty advisor will work with you to match appropriate courses with your interests.
