Digital Editing The Thorpe Center provides hardware, software and basic support for producing digital video and audio projects
  • Scan photographs and use them in a PowerPoint, web, video presentation or e-mail.
  • Digitize and edit videos
  • Create a PowerPoint or web presentation then burn it
  • Record a CD-R or DVD-R of your data, video, audio or an entire presentation.
  • Borrow digital cameras and camcorders from the Circulation Desk to shoot your video and edit it on one of our systems.

 

 



The Thorpe Center computers feature specialized hardware and software to assist in creating multimedia projects and presentations. Using these workstations you can capture and edit audio and video, scan large format documents up to 11" x 17" and perform various other multimedia tasks. Digital recording equipment, such as camcorders and tripods, may be checked out at the Circulation Desk.
