The Thorpe Center now has two iPad 2's available for faculty and staff to checkout (3rd floor - Ames Library).  We are very excited to provide an opportunity for our users to experience using an iPad and are interested in learning how you like to interact with the device.  Which apps are useful? How might you use this device for teaching and learning? Please e-mail any comments you may have about this service.

Checkout Details

• Two-week loan period.
• iPad's are loaned on a first-come-first-serve basis - check here for availability.  A wait-list is available in the Thorpe Center (309) 556-1700.
• Any personal data and applications installed by the user will be removed from the equipment when it is returned.
• Please return the iPad to the Thorpe Center Desk. Do not put it in the book drop.
• If an iPad is 14 days overdue it will be declared lost and the patron's account charged.
• Please do not pile other books or materials on the iPad.
  

• The iPad comes with a set of apps (software) already installed.
• Syncing the iPad to your personal iTunes account may disable the library installed apps.  Don't worry, we will reinstall them when you return the device.
• Any personal data and applications installed by the user will be removed from the equipment when it is returned.
