Submit a Digital Photo

Alumni are invited to send their news to the Illinois Wesleyan Magazine for possible inclusion in the Class Notes section. News sent directly to the magazine will be forwarded to the editor of your class newsletter.

You can submit digital images to the below e-mail address that will be considered for publication in the magazine, depending on available space and photo quality. Please send images in JPEG format. We can only publish high-resolution scans. (If your photo is scanned at 72 dpi, the width must be at least 12 inches; for a 300 dpi photo, the width can be 4 inches, etc.) If you’re not sure if your photo is of sufficient resolution, feel free to send it and we can let you know if it’s acceptable.

FOR WEDDING PHOTOS. The magazine accepts for publication photos of IWU people at the weddings of alumni. Only those affiliated with Illinois Wesleyan (alumni, faculty, and staff) should be in the photo—the only exceptions are non-IWU brides or bridegrooms. Please identify everyone in the picture by name and class year. Include the ceremony’s date, along with the groom’s first and last name and the bride’s maiden name. Photos should be sent within six months of the event and must reproduce well (see above criteria for photo resolution, etc.)

Email the photo as an attachment to iwumag@iwu.edu. Be certain to include all identification information in the body of your email.
