Assistant Professor of Philosophy

Illinois Wesleyan University, Bloomington, IL.  Assistant Professor, tenure track, beginning fall semester, 2010.  6 courses/year, (2 semesters/May Term), lower level and advanced undergraduate.  Usual non-teaching duties after the first year, including academic advising.  AOS: Open.  AOC: Open.  The successful candidate will be expected to teach a range of philosophy courses as well as some writing intensive courses.  Must document teaching effectiveness and potential for excellence in research. Ph.D. required by August 1, 2010. Salary competitive.
