The David Davis Mansion is a historic home that once belonged to Judge David Davis, a Supreme Court Justice and friend of President Abraham Lincoln. The mansion now serves as a museum. It is furnished to look as it did in the 1800s and is open for tours.

Downtown Bloomington is located just a short walk from the Illinois Wesleyan campus! There are plenty of stores and restaurants, and a Farmer's Market, which sells fresh meats and produce, in the warmer months. Various events and festivals also take place in downtown Bloomington throughout the year.
Uptown Normal also includes many stores and restaurants, as well as the Amtrak train station, where you can take a train to Chicago. Uptown Normal also has festivals and events throughout the year.
Bloomington Center for the Performing Arts
The Bloomington Center for the Performing Arts, or BCPA, is a performing arts venue located just a short walk from the Illinois Wesleyan campus. Here you can see community or touring performances, as well as performances by the Illinois Wesleyan Civic Orchestra.
