I have been teaching at IWU since 2002 where I teach beginning and intermediate Spanish language courses and an introductory course in Latin American literature. The experience at IWU gives me a great understanding of the capabilities of IWU students, their balancing act of taking on double majors and participating in extra-curricular activities. What I like about IWU is that it gives me the opportunity to serve as a positive example for the Hispanic community. As a community member I volunteer with organizations to promote participation in opportunities to improve their lives. In addition I like running and riding my bike with my family.
