Lisa Drew is a central Illinois native.  She has spent much time visiting various parts of Italy where she learned to speak Italian.  She received her Bachelor of Arts in Spanish with a minor in Italian studies from Illinois State University.  Her Master of Arts is also from Illinois State University with a primary concentration in Foreign Language Pedagogy, a secondary concentration in Spanish Linguistics, and a graduate certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages.  She enjoys learning languages and loves to share her enthusiasm for language learning with others through her teaching.  In addition to Illinois Wesleyan, she has taught Spanish at Heartland Community College and Illinois State University.  She also teaches Italian at IWU.  Lisa resides in Lincoln with her husband where they own the Italian pizzeria, Sorrentos.
