Ángela Bailey de las Heras grew up in the capital of Spain, Madrid.  After completing her Masters in Foreign Language at Illinois State University, she received a scholarship from the Spanish Department of Education and completed a specialization in teaching culture, language and literature at La Universidad de Alcala.  She teaches at Illinois State University as well as coordinates the Spanish intermediate level courses.  She is co-author of the forthcoming conversation textbook ¡Qué me dice!  Angela resides in Bloomington with her husband, Uzay, and their three boys, Uzay, Eirk and Aitor.
