Celeste Flachsbart
Celeste is an Advancement Officer who works primarily with alumni and friends in the Southwest.  She is responsible for the University's fundraising activities in Arizona, California, New Mexico, Nevada, and Texas.

Mary's primary functions include processing, maintaining and reporting the demographic-related information within the Advancement Office.  All non-financial information falls into Mary's purview, including items such as addresses, phone numbers, marriages, memberships and awards.

Jeff manages the Wesleyan Fund staff, creating and implementing a comprehensive fundraising plan.  Jeff works with alumni, friends, students and parents to increase unrestricted support for the University.

Sherry McClarty
Sherry oversees the Advancement Office's stewardship efforts, including gift acknowledgements, donor recognition events, the Annual Report of Donors and other communications about the impact of financial support.

Tim McKeown
Tim oversees the data management and analysis area of the Advancement office.  Tim and his staff work closely with the entire Advancement Office to both maximize the data processes and to help staff members recognize and apply the information to which they have access.

Kara Mehrkens
Kara's primary focus is on processing, maintaining and reporting gift-related information within the Advancement Office.  Virtually all financial-related activities fall into Kara's responsibilities, including pledges, gifts, matching transactions, acknowledgments and reminders.

Van works to implement the goals of the Wesleyan Fund's Strategic Plan, specifically those that strive to increase awareness among alumni and current students about the importance of consistent participation in the Wesleyan Fund.

Chris, a 1991 IWU graduate, works with alumni and friends in Chicago, McLean County and the Quad Cities.  He is also responsible for much of the University's fundraising activities in Arizona, California, Michigan and Ohio.

Carlo Robustelli
Carlo supervises the Grants and Foundation Relations staff and is responsible for establishing initiatives to increase both restricted and unrestricted support from institutional grant makers.

Natalie assists the Vice President and Associate Vice Presidents for Advancement in daily operations of planned giving, Campaign coordination, cabinet level meeting arrangements, and executive work.  She also assists the Wesleyan Fund team in their efforts to raise unrestricted support.

Assistant Director of Grants and Foundation Relations/Faculty Grants Manager
Shireen Schrock
Shireen supports the Grants Office by researching, identifying, evaluating, and soliciting support for institutional and academic programs from government, corporate and foundation sources.  She coordinates post-award administration; drafts proposals and concept papers; manages stewardship reporting and program compliance documentation; and maintains the Grants and Foundation Relations website.

Steve Seibring, '81
Steve is a 1981 graduate of Illinois Wesleyan and has decades' worth of experience working in University Advancement.  Steve is responsible for gift planning, including estates, trusts and annuities.  He also works with alumni and friends in Chicago and McLean County, Florida and the Carolinas.
