In order to qualify for any need-based institutional fund, a new student will need to complete the following application forms to be considered. We strongly encourage the new student to apply before March 1.  Our returning students will need to complete these forms as well but the preferential filing deadline for the returning student is April 15.

The two Financial Aid applications required for all students:
1). Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
2.) 2010-2011 Illinois Wesleyan University Financial Aid Application

If you choose to file the IWU Financial Aid Application, we encourage you to file electronically by clicking the link above.  We will receive your application electronically so there is no need to send us a printed copy. 

If you choose to submit a paper application, please submit only one copy of the application. It can be mailed, faxed, scanned, or emailed.  A printable version of the 2010-2011 Illinois Wesleyan Financial Aid Application is available here (pdf).

You do not need to submit a separate application for any IWU merit awards. These are typically awarded at the time of acceptance.
