How to Apply for Financial Aid

In order to qualify for any need-based institutional funds, US citizen or eligible non citizen students will need to complete the following application forms. We strongly encourage all students to apply before March 1. International students should go to International Scholarship to learn more about financial aid availability. As long as the Financial Aid Office receives all requested paperwork and forms, new students can expect to receive an award proposal typically within about 2 weeks beginning March 1st. Returning students will start receiving aid proposals in June . |

If you choose to file the IWU Financial Aid Application, we encourage you to file electronically by clicking the appropriate link above. We will receive your application electronically so there is no need to send us a printed copy. A printable version of the 2013-2014 Illinois Wesleyan Financial Aid Application is available here (pdf). If you choose to submit a paper application, please submit only one copy of the application. It can be mailed, faxed, scanned, or emailed. You do not need to submit a separate application for any IWU merit awards. These are typically awarded at the time of acceptance.
