Faculty Non-Org
Non-org is a faculty tradition at IWU dating back to 1971. At that time, Bob Mowery and Forrest Frank thought it would be a good idea to get together on Mondays at lunch and hear a colleague present his or her research in a non-organized fashion; a work-in-progress type of thing. More than 30 years later, non-org is still meeting on Mondays at around noon in the Davidson Room. It is an informal setting for faculty to hear about other colleagues' research, creative writing, objects d'art, music, performance, teaching methodologies, grants and many other things we all do as professors in a liberal arts institution but are hesitant to admit.
If you would like to present at IWU non-org, please, send an e-mail with a tentative title and dates to Josh Brown Kramer or Brad Sheese, your conveners for this academic year.
