State of Illinois Examination Requirements
The Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) requires all teacher certification candidates to pass the Basic Skills, Content Area, and Assessment of Professional Teaching exam. These exams are administered at specific times over the year. Students must register for exams in advance.
