Guillermina Delgado, M.A.

Guillermina Delgado holds a Master's in Latin American Literature, as well as a Bachelor's in Bilingual Education, from Illinois State University.

She has served on the Bias Review Committee for the Illinois State Board of Education. She currently teaches third grade bilingual at Bent Elementary. As an educator she serves on the Parent Advisory Council board of the bilingual program, the Reading Committee and has served on the Building Leadership Team.

In addition to teacher education, Professor Delgado's scholarly interests include language acquisition of children and how culture impacts education. She teaches courses on English Language Learner's and Bilingual Education. Professor Delgado has been at IWU since 2011, and in central Illinois since 2000.
