Constructivist approaches to the teaching and learning of mathematics in grades K-8 with emphases on educational
technologies, problem solving, reasoning and proof, representation, communication and interdisciplinary connections. Curricular planning, assessment, and research addressing the needs of all students to promote social justice.
Required field experience.
Prerequisites: Educ 255, 257, and acceptance into the Teacher Education Program. May be taken concurrently with 351.
