The Bloomington public school district serves approximately 6000 students from diverse economic, racial, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds. A significant number of the 1300 sixth through eighth grade students enrolled at Bloomington Junior High School (BJHS) face one or more challenges to experiencing success in school.
