Sponsored Programs and Foundation Relations
The Sponsored Programs and Foundation Relations Office (also known as SPFR or the Grants Office) is a branch of the IWU's Office of Advancement. SPFR is responsible for seeking outside funding to support University-wide projects and initiatives; programmatic and curricular development; and faculty research, scholarship, and teaching.
External funding may be sought to support student scholarships, faculty research, building/construction grants, the purchase of new equipment, the endowment, or other programs that are consistent with the University's priorities.
The SPFR officers work in cooperation with the Provost/Dean of the Faculty, Associate Dean of the Faculty, and Associate Provost to provide support to faculty members seeking funding.
