Chicago Programs - Associated Colleges of the Midwest www.acm.edu/chicago ACM offers three unique semester-long programs in Chicago to provide students with a full range of choices in a dynamic city:
All three programs include a city-centered core course and a choice of academically demanding seminars. But each program also asks you to do independent work in your field and to complete an internship that will connect your academic focus to the world of work. You won’t just talk about the city, you’ll be in it: interacting with art and artists, doing business, learning a neighborhood. You won’t just read about it, you’ll be getting out, sampling the cultural riches, and meeting the people who make this city work. |

Washington Semester Program – American University www.american.edu/washingtonsemester
The Washington Semester Program was designed to bring undergraduate students to the nation's capital to study government through first-hand experience and contact with political, business, and community leaders. Throughout its 50-year history, the program has blended the traditional academic environment with experiential learning. It offers students from throughout the United States and the world a rare opportunity to live, work, and learn in Washington, D.C. The program involves three components: an educational seminar, an internship, and a research project or elective class. Students choose a program of interest from 12 options (ranging from Journalism or Public Law to American Politics or International Environment & Development). Some programs include a study abroad component. |

Looking for media experience? NYMEP offers undergraduate students an exciting and educational semester in New York. Students will learn about the media business, make important career contacts, gain work experience and enjoy life in New York City! The main focus of this program is an internship with a major media company or organization. Students are also required to enroll in two online courses during the semester. As the media capital of the world, New York provides exciting internship opportunities, including: Television shows, Public Relations Agencies, Network News, Sports Shows & Teams, and Magazines. |

At the same time, students enrich their academic credentials with undergraduate credits from Georgetown University. |
