Career  & Graduate School Guidance
Our library contains many graduate school references on a variety of tests and programs. These materials are available for use during Career Center hours of operation. Our staff is well versed in helping students decide if graduate school is the right choice as well as assisting them in exploring programs that may be of interest and can help students find the career path that fits them best. There are a variety of interest assessments used to help aide in these decisions (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, Interest Inventory, FOCUS, STRONG).

Internship & Job Searching
In addition to career advising, we manage and organize several different job posting services which include the Career Insider powered by Vault, Environmental Career Opportunities, CareerSearch, the Human Services and Liberal Arts Career Weekly, Graduate Jobs, BRIDGE (music opportunities), Internships USA, and more!  These services, which the University purchases, are password protected are located in a special section of our site called Online Career Resources. The access information for this section can be obtained by contacting the career center. We maintain another listing of various useful websites which can be found by visiting this link, and a listing of exceptional opportunities here (Interesting Information). Our library also contains a great many publications that students may come in and use.

In addition to these bulletins, Illinois Wesleyan University is involved in the Illinois Small College Placement Association (ISCPA) which is a network containing job postings only available to the 25 member colleges. For more information on ISCPA, visit their website.

Our main online service available to students is Titan CareerLink (eRecruiting), and it is a service of experience.com and hosts various internship and job postings.  All students are entered into the system upon enrollment. Students can use this system to upload a digital copy of their resume which can be used to apply for positions. Prospective employers can also view their resume online.  For more information on our internship program, see our internship page.
