25th Annual Student Exhibition

Join us for the 25th Annual Juried Student Art Exhibition in the Merwin and Wakeley Galleries at Illinois Wesleyan University. 
This exhibition showcases the work of Illinois Wesleyan students who are majors and minors in the School of Art. 
All areas of the studio art program will be represented: painting, drawing, printmaking, graphic design, photography, ceramics, sculpture, and glass.


Numerous  awards will be presented:
The Hart Career Center Purchase Award: A  work of art will be chosen to be on permanent display in the career center.
The Mayo Alumni Purchase Award: sponsored by Michael Mayo, John Dyke, and Nick Brazis.
The National Hall Residence Honorary (NRHH Purchase Award) uses the Juried Art Exhibition as an opportunity to select a piece of student artwork for use as an award for the residence hall of the year.  
President's Award chosen by Illinois Wesleyan University's President Wilson.
Director's Award, chosen by Miles Bair, Director of the School of Art. 
and
new this year is the Memorial Center Purchase Prize

These and other awards will be presented at 4:30pm during the opening reception, which runs from 4-6pm on Tuesday, February 7th in the galleries.
