Miles Bair, M.A.

Bachelor's and Master's from Edinboro University, Master's from West Virginia University

Bair was born in New Castle, Pennsylvania. He studied art at Edinboro University and West Virginia University.

Miles teaches painting and is the director of the School of Art.

He has exhibited widely including the Mary Bell Gallery in Chicago, Quincy Art Center in Illinois, KH Gallery in Chicago,  University of Wisconsin-Madison, McLean County Arts Center in Bloomington Illinois, Carole Jones Gallery in Chicago, One Illinois Center Boulevard Towers in Chicago, Anderson and Anderson Gallery in Minneapolis, East/West Contemporary Art Gallery in Chicago, Kansas State University Gallery, Naperville Art Association, C. G. Jung Institute of Chicago, Lloyd Shin Gallery in Chicago, Rosenthal Museum in Idaho, Drake University Gallery, Tokyo International Art Exposition, Charles A. Wustum Museum in Racine, Lakeview Museum in Peoria, Locus Gallery in Saint Louis, Millikin University, and the Chicago Public Library Cultural Center.

Miles' most recent solo exhibitions were at the Neville Museum in February, March and April 2011 and William Havu Gallery in December, 2011. Miles next solo exhibition is at the Dubuque Art Museum in August 2012.

He has been a visiting artist at a number of major American universities and at the Tama Art University and Oberin University in Japan. Miles' work is represented by William Havu Gallery in Denver, Colorado, and Katie Gingrass Gallery in Milwaukee.
