Application Checklist

  • The international application deadline is March 1, 2010  for the fall term.

  • There is no application fee.

  • Request official copies of your academic records from all secondary schools and colleges in which you are currently enrolled or have previously attended. Academic records need to be in English and notarized. Applicants from British-Patterned Educational Systems should present the General Certificate of Education, Ordinary (O) Level, Advanced (A) Level, or the Higher Education Certificate.

  • TOEFL or ELS Language Centers Level 112 for Undergraduate Admissions and SAT-I or ACT scores. It is very important that you request official copies of your TOEFL or ELS Language Centers Level 112 for Undergraduate Admission and SAT-I or ACT test scores be sent to the Office of International Admissions. TOEFL scores will only be accepted directly from ETS. If a copy of either the SAT-I or ACT is sent, it must be certified by a school official as a true and accurate copy of the original. No exceptions will be made.

  • Request one letter of recommendation in English from a teacher who can attest to your academic ability and English language ability in terms of reading comprehension, listening, and speaking.

  • Writing Sample/Personal Essay

  • A clearly readable photocopy of your passport, which is required to apply for a student visa. If you do not have a current passport, please notify us. (This will not delay consideration of your application for admission.)

We do not accept by fax or email any official documents required for an admission decision. However, a copy of your passport will be accepted as an email attachment, since it is not required for us to make an admission decision. All supportive documentation should be sent to:
