Within this unique internship opportunity, students get to learn about entrepreneurship and the day-to-day operation of a small business. Small Business Partners shadow local small business owners and learn about economic development initiatives in the community. As a part of the program, students get to meet business owners and community leaders every Thursday during a lunch workshop. Each partner will have the opportunity to work with a local small business owner while also applying his/her own skills a nd expertise to improve their partnering business. Throughout the semester, the Small Business Partners will work on a group project focused on growing small businesses on the Westside of Bloomington.
