Karen Zangerle, Executive Director of PATH
"One of the things I really appreciated about ARC was that its interns came to us with a different mind set about what they wanted to get out of the experience. And IWU staff has invested more responsibility in the interns....And they were able to do things that we would not ordinarily have been able to get done.... There was the research end of it when we looked at plans across the country...all the way to the end product that looked so readable and professional and something we were proud to hand out to community leaders and funders. It was a dynamite project."
ARC couples students with community partners to work together as agents of positive change. Students contribute their skills in short-term and long-term projects while also learning from community partners.
