About IWU
Brian T. Udovich '98 is a motion picture producer in Hollywood, Calif. His films include All the Boys Love Mandy Lane and The Wackness.
Your hometown? Joliet, Illinois
Why Wesleyan? My brother, Dr. Chris Udovich (he wasn't "Dr. Udovich" at that time), attended IWU from 1989-1993.  I fell in love with the school when I would come down to visit him.  The atmosphere always felt like home.
Your major? Business Administration
Favorite professor or class? Professor Fred Hoyt (marketing) and my "May Term" class where we traveled and studied all over China.  Professor Hoyt always had great insight into life and how to look at things.  My trip to China opened my eyes to the world and what it had to offer.
After Wesleyan?  I traveled around the world working for Cap Gemini and then decided I really wanted to move to Hollywood and make movies.
Biggest thrill or best memory?  The 1996 Titan football season
For fun? Watching a movie, in a theater, on a gigantic screen.
The best? Orson Wells and Fyodor Dostoevsky
Favorite book? The Brothers Karamazov
Favorite band? Andrew Bird (fellow IWU Titan)
Favorite movie? The Road Warrior (forget CGI, those are real trucks in that chase scene)
Favorite quote? "Happiness is solid while Joy is liquid." J.D. Salinger (Nine Stories)
