The strategic planning and visioning process, approved by the Board of Trustees in 2006, identified a number of strategic initiatives for the campus to focus on in the coming years. The University supports a number of activities related to these initiatives:

Tunnel of Oppression Seeks to Raise Awareness An interactive Tunnel of Oppression -- including a Hall of Enlightenment -- will incorporate student work, seeking to raise awareness about social bias and what individuals can do to create change.

May Term Strives to Make Human Rights Real Students enrolled in May Term this year have the opportunity to attend a variety of co-curricular events encompassing the theme of "Making Human Rights Real."

LaLonde's Tool Library Wins $25,000 Grant A tool-lending library founded by Matt LaLonde '14 at the West Bloomington Revitalization Project has received a $25,000 State Farm Neighborhood Assist grant.
