Heart of the 72-acre campus, the park-like Eckley Quadrangle is ringed by gray stone Gothic to modern brick and glass buildings. Tree lined sidewalks connect the Quad's buildings. It is named for IWU's 15th president, Robert S. Eckley, who served from 1968-86, and his wife, Nell.
