Technology Equipped Classrooms

Classroom News: November 13, 2008
As you prepare for the final few weeks of the Fall semester and look ahead to Spring 2009, we would like to point out a few classrooms that have been updated throughout the fall.
Beckman Auditorium has received a new screen and projector.
Art 218 is now equipped with a LCD projector and a Mac mini for computer presentations and will serve as an excellent video room for wide screen viewing.
The projector and screen in Buck 108 have been updated.
Buck 001’s projector has been installed in the ceiling making it a much more appropriate room for computer and video projection.
Shaw 104 has been upgraded to a technology equipped classroom with an LCD projector, computer and video equipment.
The projector in CNS E103 has been upgraded.
We have equipped two additional seminar rooms this year, CLA 300 and CNS C212. The projectors have been hung and are functioning but we are still considering how to store and maintain the computer and video equipment. Please plan ahead when requesting these seminar rooms.
An interactive SmartBoard has been installed in CLA 100 for the Ed Studies department and is currently being used by faculty teaching in that classroom. If you like a demonstration or are interested in this type of technology, please contact Patrick McLane for more information.
Special thanks to Michael Limacher who has taken over the responsibilities of ordering and coordinating the installation of classroom equipment and has become an integral part of our classroom equipment planning process.
